I'm not even going to try to do that justice, and you really don't want the kind of bad puns I could come up with pre-coffee, so just go forth and do that brainstorming thing, will ya?

So, these ideas came about during the 'Mistress Mayhem' mini-plot, when I started thinking of other ways to give the Fandom police stuff to do. I don't play a Fandom cop, so I'm not even sure such ideas are wanted, but I haves them so I'll share them. They're also fairly vague and undefined, so feel sorry if they don't make a lot of sense. Also, I'm declaring them free to anyone who thinks they can do more with them, because other than the "hey, might this be cool..." I got nothing.

My first thought was a potential townies-only plot, where someone is stealing from the stores around town. Maybe a gang has set up shop in one of the abandoned warehouses?

*I wasn't around for the last island expansion, so I freely admit I have no idea how it worked ICly or OOCly. However, I thought it might be interesting if Fandom suddenly developed a bad side of town. Either as a longer plot or possibly even permanent (though I know the latter would involve A LOT of prep. {And now I want to see an Alot of prep.}) I was thinking the Thenardiers' inn, Fagin running a pawnshop, Graverobber's dumpster, etc etc. Something kind of like a con for criminals and low-lives, except they've set up shop rather than come in to lead seminars.

I don't know if doing this as anything more than a slightly longer plot is feasible (or if its feasible even as a plot), but an idea I've been thinking about.

I really like this idea. We have characters on the island who are buying drugs and doing other slightly shady stuff, so this would be a place that it could happen on-island. I'd love to have the chance for Robin to bust someone now and again, too. :)

If we do this, I think we should have a politically-savvy crime lord running the area. He could keep the heroes from getting too close to his "legitimate businesses" and get cases thrown out of court for improper procedure and generally keep the heroes from cleaning up the area. He could even let the heroes bust people sometimes to keep the competition out of the way.

I don't know about the cops, but I'm sure Alex Cabot will make out with whoever makes this happen.

I also love the idea of some clueless people shopping there and marveling at the cheap prices!!! The store is dirty but they have some awesome sales!!!

Tim's canon started out with Domestic Sprites emerging in New York City and looking for people of the same ethnic background to set up shop with. The problem is New York is such a melting pot that some of the Sprites start fighting over people.

Anyone interested in doing something like this in Fandom?
