All good questions! I hadn't really hashed it out yet since the movie canon states it's for a pretty lengthy amount of time. I think it'd depend on the length of the event and how it's set up. It might be easier to make it part of a bigger event or something.

And I think sharing AU's would just be up to those that wanna share. Like if you and I wanted to share, we'd just have to know that and go from there. I couldn't pop into your future without your knowledge sorta deal.

*noddles*

Definitely, no random jumping in. I'm just pondering how it could work or if it'd be better to keep it all individual, but sharing is fun.

Admittedly, I can't remember a thing of the movie. At least, I think I saw it, but yes.

A bit of a different take could be to just have the machine give a cryptic prophecy, but then slowly people start having dreams of a possible future. If someone wants to share then, they can supposedly be sharing dreams.

I'm just rambling here and possibly have been reading too much Tolkien.

Yeah, I think sharing could be fun if both parties agreed to it but individual is just fine too. Whatever the preference is, of course.

And prophetic dreams sound cool! They'd probably have to have some sort of pay off so they're not just dreams, IMO.

I think depending on the bigger event, the advantage of the dreams could be that you can more easily spread things out instead of having to cram it all in one day. And people don't have to disappear, so everyone can have the dreams without anyone panicking that X and Y are gone.

Unless, of course, the whole point is to have people worry but perhaps that is a bit too similar to the last BDE and the Weeping Angels.
