This is random, but Brennan's really good at picking up things about people from how they move, so if, like, you ever need someone to "just know" your character's trying hard to keep an injury from being spotted, she's your girl.
She's also great with skeletons but I doubt she'll get one on the island.
So with all the cops we have on the island plus a few that might be show up pending application approval, I'm thinking we need a good old fashioned mystery to solve on the island. Once upon a time I toyed with the idea of an open mystery where anyone on the island could participate and solve though the logistics of it would kill my brain.
Yup. Something like that. Satan was kind of the overlord of things, got tired of the infighting, and packed up shop to go exploring for a while (according to what we've heard), while Lucifer was second in command and brains of the operation. He's been out of commission since pissing off Death (Fi's mother) and living, quite literally, as a bum outside of the twin's apartment building.
Beelzebub has been chairman of the Board since, or was until he tried to take Fiona's brother, Eliot, off. Fiona and Eliot killed him and Lucifer used that release of power (and a very well-mapped spell) return himself to his former status and get back in the game. Supposedly, this is so he can better protect Fiona and Eliot; surprisingly, that seems to be the truth at least to a reasonable degree.
And I am sure it will STUN you to know I found a page annotating how Gaiman broke things down in Sandman. Satan = Azazel, Azazel and Beelzebub work for Lucifer, and why am I not surprised your canon and Gaiman have similar rough premises about how things work down there, even if they disagree about who's in charge?
(Hi. I've been on a Gaiman kick lately. Does it show?)
