It's storming brains! Hallelujah!

What time is it? Time for a brainstorming post!

It is also time not to reply to said post until I'm done with the OCD for it. DON'T MAKE ME COME OVER THERE. Because I so will. Then I'll be there and it'll be all awkward because I'm actually supposed to be at work and everybody here will wonder where I wandered off too and it will be ALL YOUR FAULT. So just wait with the posting already. Good? Good.

Is anyone else familiar enough with Slings & Arrows to feel like they could play Ellen? Danii and I were trying to work out the logistics of it if we had one visit for a short while.

I have no particularly specific ideas at the moment, but I might come up with something by the end of the day, so I'll let you know. :)

Of my ones with useful-ish powers for things like spare-bits (and because I don't think I've posted this for awhile)...

Emma's still a telepath, and picking up random thoughts like a weetiny radio receiver of bitchy rage, and would be perfectly happy to drop in and ~~torment~~ chat with you. Ghanima has limited prescience/clairvoyance, and can tutor you in pretty much anything, and Anemone can 'taste' (sense) the difference between human & non-human, and is easily enabled into pranks and chaos. Gulliver possesses the dual powers of Panduppy Cute and Quantum Density.

Ohhhhh, but that could be fun.

Especially since my brain immediately went to "well, that would be when Zachariah could show up and bitch out Castiel for awhile." Or Anna could show up and my poor doof could finally get laid. . . .

Yeah, I think Castiel might hate me for it, but then, he kind of does already.

Gabrielle's canon schtick throughout the early seasons is getting captured and held hostage a lot, so in case anyone needs a convenient plot hostage who won't be massively PTSD afterward, I offer her as an option. She's also always available to break people's brains with her wacky-ass version of ancient history. ;)

That's the only particularly unique spare-part-y bit I can think of to offer for my girls. Of the others, Katchoo has some covert-ops skills and is actually quite good at flirting/charming information out of people, or assuming a persona to sneak in somewhere. Or being EXPLOSIVELY RAGEY. Tahiri's around in case you have a need for basic Jedi-type abilities, and she's a decent starfighter pilot now. As for Kennedy, I only recently found out that apparently the Potentials are somewhat subject to the prophetic dreams (stupid vague canon), but since I started out assuming she didn't, I'm spinning it so that any such dreams she has are vague enough to be pretty much useless. So I have nothing to offer there, unless you happen to need a hotheaded, quippy, but entirely average fighty-type for something. I don't do much with Lacey's tendency to butt into other people's business because, yeah, butting in, but she's available for that if you think your townie needs someone to annoy them.

ETA: And for the alumni. Nothing particularly unique in this bunch but, y'know. :)

Anders has (though he doesn't realize the reason) the upped physical stamina/strength/disease resistance of a Cylon, and is available if you need an unpowered athletic muscle guy who's pretty decent with guns. (I would like to avoid having him kill people, although with a good plotty reason for it I wouldn't say no.)

Conner no longer has Ranger morphing abilities, but he does have super-speed, a cool car, and the ability to, uh. Look pretty while being kinda dumb.

Jen Scotts does have Ranger morphing abilities and excellent marksmanship, as well as police training from the FUTURE.

Castiel's angelic abilities are, as always, listed here (with updates from season 5), though some of those may have faded slightly due to a lack of other SPN canon angels about (I'm thinking, for instance, that he's not so good at exorcising demons with his hand, just now).

Claudia is available to make random high tech crap out of other random crap.

I just googled "Squirrel Appreciation Day" and am being told that it is, in fact, tomorrow.

Which means I'll have two obligatory townie posts in which to properly celebrate it!

I may have an account sitting around I've wanted to use for something like that for a long while. >.>

They totes do! With all the work they do around the island, gathering up gossip and then at times forcing poor, unsuspecting citizens to report it for the hilarity of all. Go squirrels!

Jak and Azula still need to have a Talk eventually. Mwahaha.

Raven - healing, both physical and emotional, of course. I get all self-conscious (*waves to Didi above*) about pinging into emo/hurty posts because *I* don't want to be a bother and I know Raven can be annoying sometimes. YOUR PAIN, GIVE IT TO ME. If you don't want to deal with her, please please just ping me/email me, or IC play it out and tell her to go screw. ;) Also, she's a portal to heaven/purgatory/hell. And a teleporter.

Drake - Teleporting and advice for the lovelorn.

Leia - Not a Jedi yet. Still not Queen.

Vida - Umm, fabulous fashion consulting skills?

Bel - Cosmic taxi for those alumni who don't want to book a portal. Brute squad with flaming balls of death.

Wyatt - Ditto on the cosmic taxi, with healing to boot. And magic. And Excalibur. *thumbs nose at Arthur*

New girl spare parts!

Alysha's a pretty highly powered witch but her big talent is charms. Need a pair of glasses charmed with true sight? Need to see in the dark? Want to make sure you can always follow a specific person? Other random charmy things? She's your girl. Also she can bake charms into pies - including things like truth spells and love charms. I have NO IDEA how that could go badly.

Also she can do other random things like know if people are magical, see truth, shut gates to the Underworld, and identify all sorts of magic crap.

Menolly's a musician so, uh, yeah, there's that. Also nine firelizards who are available to help or hinder or teleport as needed.

No, because I'm also too lazy for that.
