I'm mildly obsessed with the movie Inception and think it would be awesome to do some kind of shared dream plot in game. I have no idea how we could make it work but I figured I'd throw it out there.

Dude, yes.

I have no idea how to do it, though. None of the movie's characters are especially playable in this setting. (Arthur comes closest, but holy lack of background.)

But if anybody figures it out, I'd be way on board.

What if it was something along the same lines as Inception, in that it is a mass-shared dream, but the root of it wasn't something technological, but magical? Possibly even a Special Collections plot, of some sort? That way, we would still have the situation, but we wouldn't have to worry about making certain characters mesh and bend to our whims?

I would love to see this. Especially if we worked in the layers, and how hard it is to get out without a 'kick', and the huge subconscious underspace where time runs differently....

I would love to do an invasion of nubbins (http://sanctuary.wikia.com/wiki/Nubbin). They are sort of like tribbles in that they multiply at record speeds.

They also have a strange effect on humans, making them become aroused and losing their sexual inhibitions. The effect does not happen to abnormals (sort of analogous to mutants) though.

I know October is a stupid-busy month for the game, plotwise, but I think it would be fun for a Halloween plot based on the Buffy ep, "Halloween."

Whether it's limited to Halloween only or a plot for that entire weekend, everyone who dressed up (or dresses up in a specific type of costume, in case there are people who want to dress up but not participate in the plot), somehow becomes their costume for the duration of the plot.

If the Buffy cast agree, it could be Ethan Raynes coming in to make mischief, or we could find another reason for it to happen? Toasty souls of the damned, perchance?

I can't speak for my canonmates but please, like I would ever turn down a Jossverse plot idea. I'm not sure about the scheduling logistics (because I haven't looked) but I would be all over that, dude.

I loooove this idea and I feel that, if things are too packed and/or it's a little iffy making it work with an actual plot, it seems that it could very easily fall under the Just Fandom Weirdness category, too.

Not to say that something more in-depth wouldn't be fun, either, but just to say that it could be possible either way. Because it's kind of awesome.
