BDE Vampire AU Brainstorming

So we've all probably got a bit of an idea of what we want our characters to have been up to over in the AU. What we need now is to get hooked up with people who have similar plotting needs or just really dig an idea.

This is that post! Ask for help accomplishing something for your AU character. Volunteer to help others! The OCD's set up by what type of character you have/want so just ping in with what you're looking for/hoping for.

Vampire Billy is kinda like his father. I.E. megalomaniac with a taste for conquest and chaos. He's looking for a few good Vamps, and I'm looking to brainstorm plots to be up to.

As far as Gabrielle getting vamped, I have in mind that she does something typically, hopelessly naive and optimistic and tries to go make some kind of peace treaty with some vampires.

And ends up, like, being invited to a vampire party and bitten at a dance (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuaiD6A_E24) or something. (I LOVE YOU, CANON, FOR HOW I DON'T HAVE TO MAKE THIS UP.) This'll all be backstory, really, so if anyone wants to have been involved in the duping/rave/not-rly-seduction-honest bitey, let me know if?

Poor Kate got vamped pretty soon after her arrival, which happened around the same time as her mainstream arrival. So she's still kind of fresh.

I'm thinking Kate got vamped because some vampire thought she was hot. I'm also thinking she's a sidekick vampire, kind of like what Harmony was to Spike, only with some more brain power. Any volunteers for the position of Kate's "leading vampire"?

And Kate's totally a skanky little vampire. Just throwing that out there, should you find yourself in need of a vamp to fool around with.

If there are any other vampires who would be almost completely ineffectual who would want to form the worst hunting party ever, I think they'd make for some good Slayer fodder or something. :D

(Also, I'm taking volunteers for an oldbie who will have to live with the knowledge that they turned THIS GUY into a vampire. Bonus points if they declare that they made a huge mistake.)

Ned...will be a pretty dinky vampire. He'll try to make human pies (that's weird to type) and he'd mostly hang with those more powerful than him but he'd really try in an effort to impress others.

Tyler got turned by Veronica during the summer of '06. He ... well, he's Tyler Durden. As a vampire. Destructive, charismatic, unfettered, and a damned good fighter and hunter. He has his soft spots, especially for anyone obviously damaged, but they're hard to find.

No one can question that he's loyal to Zoe, but he's always pushing boundaries. he might even have a minion or three of his own.

And he has a thing with Veronica, Bel, and probably anyone else who's interested and mobile.

Dinah's having a little toooooo much fun as a vampire. Evil is fun. She also gets to keep the TK/Telepathy, so if you want to get bitch-slapped or thrown into a ceiling as a vampire or human, or if a human wants her to rifle through their mind during a fight, feel free to ping me here or to e-mail me at charlieveparker @ gmail.com to coordinate.

Mainstream Dinah will be crossing over into VampDinah, RNG and plottiness willing, if you need someone to traumatize a bit, or team up with once the hero stuff starts.

Angela was turned by Drusilla back in late 2005, as a result of her participation in the souling. She's not the strongest or cruelest vampire; sometimes, when a pensive mood strikes her, she can even feel guilty about what she is. Perhaps for that reason, she tends to drift along on the fringes of vampire cliques, and usually hunts alone. However, it would be foolish to underestimate her.

And I am totally up for having her staked at some point during the week.

Ender is going to be kind of a secluded, messed-up super-predator as a vamp. So... say hi to antisocial boy, creepy even to vampires?

After he crosses over, though, he'll be happy to get staked. Because I like being mean to my boy.

Summer mostly joked about rage blackouts when she was human. This will likely be more literal when she's a vampire. If anyone gets on her nerves, she'll let it be known. Which could be fun. :)

Alice is going to be a vampire for this. Is anyone interested in a backstory of turning her? I would really, really like to play around with her madness, if at all possible, and have had someone toy with her and drive her completely to Crazy-As-Hell Town before vamping her, a la Angel and Dru.

I am also totally, totally up for some creepy cat-and-mouse games from the other side, because, sane or crazy, Alice always rocked the vicious streak.

Willow got turned by Zoe as part of making sure the vamps had her witch-fu under their control (Willow's last words: "I knew being called into the principal's office was bad news!")

Other than that, and the various things she's done to help set up the BDE, her backstory is open. So by all means ping in if you'd like to try doing something with her.

Marshall will be...Marshall. He'll be silly, crazy in love with his wife and pretty upbeat about being a vampire. He killed Barney and is totally gallivanting around in his suits, which don't fit, so he'll kind of look like the Hulk with the ripped clothes.

He's gonna be crossing over and I'm totally for him getting staked at some point because I don't think he has the heart to kill anybody if he can at all avoid it.

I just need to think of a damn username for his damn journal.

Anemone showed up for the first session of 2007, and spent two weeks in the dorms before going "Screw this, I'm a hunter, not fucking prey." She then spent the next few weeks stalking the woods, staking anyone stupid enough to get in her way and chasing off any bleeding hearts that were trying to get her to come back to the dorms. She wasn't looking to get killed; she was looking to get turned, but she wasn't going to let just any moron try it.

Of course, her insane behaviour brought her to the attention to Tyler Durden, and they spent another few weeks stalking each other before a nice brutal fight that ended in her turning.

Since she was turned so close to her arrival, this means that she's pretty unbalanced. She revels in being a vampire, feeling like she's finally accepted for who she is and can glory in her 'art', although she still yearns for the sky something horrible. If you want someone crazy and willing to try anything, Anemone is your girl.
