Pranking

This coming week, our lovable pranksters Pip and Walter are planning to pull off a prank similar in scale to the great "golf cart" incident. Only, since golf carts are so passe, they've decided to do something a little different and a little more personal.

At some point, they will buy supplies from A and S and craft a large number of spring-loaded pop-up gremlins, suitable for hiding in the desks of teachers.

And on Wednesday night, they will slip into the school and hide said pop-up gremlins in the desks of as many teachers as possible.

Participation is entirely voluntary and will motly depend on reaction shots from all you wonderful teachers. If you don't want to subject your teacher to the pop-up gremlins, feel free to simply ignore them and we can say that, for whatever reason, Pip and Walter were unable to get into your office or simply passed it up for some reason.

Sound fun?

While you don't need to reply to this post at all to participate, if one or two teachers who'd like to do it would let us know for purposes of dropping names in our post, that'd be great. Thanks!

Rumor Mill

I got a little bored, and sent dear Laura over to Theodoric of York's on Saturday. Let's face it: the girl needed a spa day. She was booked for the "Blushing Bride" package, which gave her the massage as well as the shampoo, cut, color, style. The receptionist (who has apparently read the book with the centaur and the mermaid on the cover, and willingly admits it) is convinced Laura was rushing off that night to meet up and elope with her secret fiance.

I watched some old movies this past weekend -- Shall We Dance, the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers version -- and thought about the post a bit. The focus of the movie is that the two leads (Fred and Ginger), are celebrities, rumored to be married, a rumor started by one of Astaire's spurned lovers. So, with that in mind, I thought that, if anyone wants to take the rumor and run with it, feel free to do so. Without Tory around, Madame Prez is gonna have to deal with it herself.

Not so much with the plotiness, per se, but a little bit of fun. =)
