Wow, this comm is jumping lately, huh?

Anyway. Hello! This post is going to be brief, and serves two simple purposes. First, is to give a heads-up to the Mystical Artifacts students (as you may have already seen from the class post, because I so meant to get this up earlier today but ran out of time) that you're getting an NPC guest speaker for next week's class. Since the main focus of that class is going to be a mirror that summons demons, Sakura's teammate Eiji Takaoka will be visiting to talk about it. As the latest in a dynasty of demon hunters known as "Ashu watchers," and half-demon himself, he's pretty qualified to talk on the subject. Plus given some of the students there, I thought it might be kind of fun. *eyes Jo, Dawn, the Halliwells, and the Winchesters* Ashu watchers are Buddhist-monk sorts of figures; wandering types who carry (or carried) a shakujo staff that's used to perform the various demon-combatting techniques. Y'know. Just for reference.

. . . that's also a heads-up in case, you know, it might trigger any issues for your characters.

Secondly, and the main reason this is posted here, is that I've gotten permission to let Eiji interact with people in one post outside of class; this will likely be set in [livejournal.com profile] fandomtownies (Eiji's being played through this journal) so as to get the most scope for possible interaction. If anyone's interested in doing so, let me know here so I can brush up on canon have an idea of what to expect. He'll be the hot cocky Japanese guy snacking on raw vegetables.

No OCD or anything, so, um . . . that's it, really. Questions? Comments? Caffeine?

I really shouldn't have had that caramel macchiato at 11 PM.
