Friday Events: Rummage Sale

deandestroyer.livejournal.comHandwavily distributed this week will be fliers with the following tentative list of Friday events. OOC info will be provided as necessary. Both the events themselves and the dates for them are subject to change.
May 25th: The Great Fandom Rummage Sale
June 1st: The First Annual Fandom Movie Festival
June 8th: Renaissance Faire
June 15th: The Second Annual Fandom Music Festival
June 22nd: The Fandom High Fun Run
June 29th: Multicultural Festival
RUMMAGE SALE:
Have anything that you want to sell? Old books? Furniture? Electronics? Weapons? You can sell it to your fellow Fandomites here! This will take place in the park and is open to all for both buying and selling. No drugs are for sale, unless they're meds the Jerries could use being sold to them.
MOVIE FESTIVAL:
Get out your cameras and film something! Fandom will be hosting a film festival featuring student movies, meta movies making their world premieres, and other various stuff that people come up with. There will be several awards including Best Student Movie, Best in Show, and some others I will be making up next week. Next weekend we will be opening up guest applications for a limited number of characters to be judges. If you'd like to participate with a movie, you can use school A/V equipment (handwavily or not, assuming you're student or staff, although the A/V facilities were destroyed so you'll have to figure or handwave something else out), come up with a plot, cast, etc. You can have posts about getting that stuff worked out starting... well, it's today now my time, Monday the 21st.
More detailed info on how the Movie Festival will work shall be up later this week or this weekend.
