Cheerleader Auction Post

walks-two-paths.livejournal.comHave you ever wanted to share a meal with a Gremlin Cheerleader? Well, you're about to get your chance. This Friday, March 29, 2009, the cheerleaders will be hosting a Picnic Basket Auction.
What is a Picnic Basket Auction? Well, we've borrowed the concept from Gilmore Girls. Each cheerleader who is participating will pack a basket meal. All students will be able to bid on the cheerleader of their choice. Whoever has the highest bid will win the company of that cheerleader while they share the meal.
Because of the nature of the auction and time zones and everything, the actual bidding portion will be held OOCly throughout the week. On Friday, a post will go up for the auction where characters can interact and mingle (and trash talk). The actual auction part will be handwaved, but we will announce the winners. And then it's up to you to work out the details of sharing your meal.
A post will go up shortly for the OOC bidding. Comments will be screened. We will update the bid amounts several times a day so you can over-bid if you are intent on winning a specific cheerleader. Bidding will only be open to students, though adults are welcome to attend the auction.
